Our Story
While Viking Building Systems as a brand is new to the Pre-Engineered Metal Building (PEMB) industry, the history behind it goes back to 1987 when a young man began working on an erection crew installing pre-engineered metal buildings. In 1992, Matthew Edwards took the field knowledge he gained and went into business for himself providing and installing metal buildings all over the continental U.S.
In recent years, the vision has grown to include providing design services and building systems in addition to installation and service, thus creating a one-stop shop for sales, service, and installation. Buildings provided under Matthew’s leadership and direction have received industry performance awards such as “Building of the Year” in multiple building categories. Today, our goal is to continue to set The Steel Building Standard through Viking Building Systems.
